Description

To keep members updated on the latest developments at the Legislature, Valerie Dosland, MASBO lobbyist, will be presenting a regular webinar series where she will share what is happening at the legislature, what she’s working on, and what MASBO members can do to advocate for their districts. This is also an opportunity for members to ask questions and share concerns and information, and get clarification on how legislative developments might impact their districts.

Your one-time registration includes access to all webinar updates for the 2025 legislative session. Sessions are currently planned for the following dates:

  • March 13
  • March 27
  • April 17 
  • May 4
  • May 15
  • May 26

All webinars start at 12:30 PM. Additional dates for updates will be added as we proceed through the legislative session. 

These sessions will be recorded and made available for viewing on demand within 48 hours of the live session.

Ewald Consulting


Valerie Dosland is the Director of Government Affairs at Ewald Consulting, where she provides strategic government relations and lobbying services to clients focused on early childhood and K–12 education. She partners with organizations on policy development, legislative strategy, grassroots engagement, and ongoing monitoring of state legislative activity. Prior to joining Ewald Consulting in 2005, Valerie spent nine years at the Minnesota House of Representatives as a research consultant, specializing in early childhood and K–12 education policy. She brings institutional knowledge and long-standing relationships within the legislative process to her work. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, is an alumnus of the University’s Humphrey Policy Fellows Program, and a former board member of the YMCA Youth in Government Program.
